Face It! A Facial Tracking Dating Simulator

Spring 2022, my senior semester at Florida Gulf Coast University, I decided to create this prototype as my Senior Project. Face It! is an ironic, humorous take on the Dating Simulator genre, except this time it utilizes a webcam to track the player’s expression as they interact with characters. This allows for new kinds of interaction, for example lying!
With the exception of OpenSeeFace being utilized for the face tracking and the audio, everything is hand-crafted by myself, including all of the scripts. There are 130+ different potential interactions with the two characters, Rose-Virginia and Dallas, alone in this short prototype. This was all made possible with Unity 2018.4.20.
Play as, well, yourself! A person who happens to be cripplingly single, but more importantly socially inept. Finally tired of your loneliness, you decide to go to the Liquorem Bar, in hopes to pick up a date and fall in love. Once there, the bartender notices your awkwardness, and gives you a few pointers before two potential dates stand before you.
